The Boileroom team are curators of emerging, national and local music, community and creative arts events since 2006. When the venue was first founded in 2006; the team were committed to bringing some of the most diverse and talented artists across all genres of contemporary music. Twelve years on, and the venue has grown from their driving principle to create an inclusive space for all walks of life to enjoy the culture of live music.
The venue nurtures the future leaders of the music industry as well as emerging artists; and former employees and interns have gone on to become CEOs, A&Rs, Production Managers, TMs, touring sound engineers, booking agents within the industry.
Over the years many artists have played The Boileroom stage. Including; 10 Mercury Music nominated artists, BBC 2 Folk Award Winners, MOBO Award Winners, Ivor Novello Award Winners, BBC Sound Of Artists, and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductees. Names including, Ed Sheeran, Foals, The Bronx, Marmozets, First Aid Kit, Catfish & The Bottlemen, Fairport Convention, The 1975, Bastille, David ‘Ram Jam’ Rodigan OBE, Lucy Rose, Wolf Alice, Sugarhill Gang, Lee Scratch Perry, You Me At Six, Declan McKenna, Laura Veirs; and The Amazons, to name a few, have perform at the venue.
Run by a collective of friends, we’re proud to serve our local area with live music and community events from Guildford SOUP to our youth music programme The Project.
The Boileroom is also available for private events from everything from wedding receptions to 40th birthday parties. In house catering for events also available
