I’m Justine, the photographer behind Berties Photography. For over 12 years I’ve been photographing people and events, from conferences and awards nights to networking events, launches, celebrations and community festivals.
For me, great event photography is about much more than recording what happened. It’s about capturing the people, connections, reactions and atmosphere that show what it actually felt like to be there- and creating images that continue to tell the story of your event long after it’s finished.
I’m known for my relaxed, friendly and unobtrusive approach, particularly with people who aren’t naturally comfortable in front of a camera. I plan carefully beforehand, then work around the event as it unfolds, looking for the moments and interactions that might otherwise go unnoticed.

My event photography has also been recognised by the Event Photography Awards. I was shortlisted in 2025 and again in 2026, when I placed 2nd in the Conferences & Corporate Events category and in the Top 25 overall.
I am also a qualified Wedding Photographer through The Guild of Photographers.
Based in Farnborough, I photograph events throughout Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire and London.
